Using clay and involving oceanic, terrestrial, and botanical references, these ceramic sculptures offer reverence for this mysterious and magical existence we call life. In calling attention to the essential nature of ritual, how memory and nostalgia influences and shapes our present, and to the power of regularly and actively tending to our relationship with the natural world, we can find our own personal ways to feel solace, joy and respite.
